Nordstrom Internships

Nordstrom Internships offer opportunities for college students to learn the retail industry at either Nordstrom headquarters in Seattle or any one of Nordstrom retail stores. National Organization for Women Internship Program

The National Organization for Women (NOW) offers volunteer, unpaid internship opportunities in the Fall, Spring and Summer. It is open to anyone, including college students, who is passionate about issues of equality for women. Enrollment in college is not a requirement for this internship. Both women and men may apply as well as U.S. and international citizens. Applicants may apply to increase their knowledge of women's issues, or to gain experience for a career in either non-profit or as a feminine activist. DoSomething.Org Internships in New York

MillerCoors Intern Leadership Program offers a 12-week program for students 21 years of age or older who are interested in a career in the beer production industry. The internships are at either Chicago or Milwaukee. Students will have an opportunity to learn how beer is made and participate hands-on in beer-making projects. Students are assigned a supervisor who will meet with them weekly to discuss their progress and critique their performance. They will also have opportunities to meet with other employees across many company levels and will participate in beer tasting workshops, tours, and presentations. Social activities and sports include baseball, beach volleyball, boat cruises, and volunteer work at Children's Hospital.

DuPont Internships

American Association of People with Disabilities Internship Program

AAPD offers internships during the Fall, Spring and Summer to qualified students and recent graduates who have disabilities. Internships can be at AAPD offices, or on Capital Hill. It is specifically designed for college students with disabilities. The organization seeks to give students who have various types of disabilities a 10-week paid summer internship opportunity. They may choose to work in Congressional offices, federal agencies, nonprofit and for-profit organizations. The program includes a living stipend, housing and travel to and from Washington, DC.

Traders4Traders FX Professionals (T4T) Internships

Traders4Traders FX Professionals (T4T) Internships are offered to students who are enrolled in the Fund Manager program at Traders4Traders. It is a 12-month training program for people interested in the foreign exchange (forex) market trading profession. The purpose of the internship is to prepare students for a career in foreign currency market trading. Only students who demonstrate outstanding results will be invited to join as full-time members of the trading team. Completion of the Prop Trader and Fund Manager programs are required before applying for the internship program. During the internship, students will have an opportunity to learn trading software, work at the live trading desk, and complete their National Futures Association Series 3 exam. They are mentored by senior traders.

US Department of State Virtual Student Foreign Service eIntern Positions

My Street Grocery Internship

It’s a funny movie that would be of particular interest to anyone who has experienced an internship or is interested in applying for one. The movie is entertaining and makes some very good points about internships. But there are other scenes that are purely for entertainment and not realistic when it comes to real-life situations. That’s OK because it’s a move. However, since this blog site is about internships, what’s real and what’s not should be pointed out for the benefit of students seriously looking for internships so they know what they should expect. One reality to expect is that you cannot bluff your way through an interview like Vince and Owen did.
