Sysco Corporate Internships are offered to students who are still in high school and desire a challenging work experience in their field of interest. The internships are 10 weeks in duration and include pay. Internships are offered in many areas, such as finance and accounting, sales, business, technology, marketing, communications, human resources and more. The internships are located in the Sysco Corporate office in the Houston Energy Corridor and at the Sysco Business Services location in Cypress, Texas.

The BMW Group Internships

The BMW Group Internships are available to students looking for a real work opportunity in the fields of vehicle technology and production, surface engineering, electronics and systems engineering, IT, business administration and service, and more. Students may apply year round. Internship positions are available at the BMW Group’s Munich location and other locations throughout Germany. To apply, eligible students must send a letter of application, resume, a recent school report, proof of liability insurance, and a letter of consent from a legal guardian.

Gap Medics Pre-Health Internships Abroad

Gap Medics Pre-Health Internships Abroad offers hospital-based medical internship shadowing programs abroad to students from all over the world. Programs are available for high school students age 16-17, and for students 18 years old or older. Applicants should have a strong interest in pursuing a health-related career. Internship areas include medicine, nursery, midwifery, physician assistant, and dentistry. The internship program allows students to intern abroad and be right in the heart of an international hospital or clinic to observe real work with real patients. Summer internships and internships offered throughout the year run from 2-4 weeks or longer.

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Internship Program

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Internship Program is open to high school students, current college students, and post graduate adults seeking skills for a new career. Several summer internship programs are available. The Summer Affirmative Action Internship Program (SAAIP) is a paid summer internship program offered by the State of Wisconsin. The internship is for racial/ethnic minorities, female students, and students with disabilities and provides them with an opportunity to work in a professional work environment within Wisconsin state government.

USAID Internships

USAID Internships are open to high school students, and students attending a two- or four-year college, university, vocational or technical school, or other certificate program. Applicants must be attending school at least on a half time basis. Paid, summer internships are available to students during the summer and at other times during the year. Candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or above in order to apply. Two types of paid summer internships are available. The first type allows students to explore Federal careers through internships that provide valuable work experience directly related to their academic field of study. These interns may be eligible for permanent employment after successfully completing their education and meeting work requirements.

DREAM TEEN Magazine Internships are offered to teens who have a strong interest in both teen culture and fashion. Internships with Dream Teen Magazine can enhance a student's portfolio for acceptance to colleges, and career opportunities. Internships are offered in the areas of Editorial, Photo, Public Relations, Marketing and Communications, Events, Illustration and Design. Most positions are remote. Summer internships give opportunities for students to learn more about the magazine publishing business. Many DREAM TEEN Magazine interns have gone onto careers with publications, such as Ebony Magazine , USA Today , LA Times , Chicago Tribune , and San Francisco Chronicle.

Girls' Life Magazine Internship

Girls' Life Magazine Internship is open to both high school students and college students interested in learning about magazine and online publishing. Shorter summer internships are offered to girls 13 and up who live in the Baltimore, Maryland area, while longer summer internships are available to college students. College students majoring in Mass Communication, English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations and Online/New Media are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be computer proficient and, ideally, have some experience with social media, Microsoft Office, Photoshop and CMS. Some office experience is also required.

Arlingtonteens Internships offer many great opportunities for high school students to gain valuable work experience in their field of interest. Opportunities range from summer, fall and year round internships in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) as well as education, global sustainability, law enforcement and much more. Some internships include pay while others are voluntarily work assignments. All are open to teens as young as 12 years old. The Student Assistant, Summer Camps through the Department of Parks and Recreation, for example, offers four-week voluntary internships for students at least 12 years old.

PRIME Internship Program

PRIME Internship Program is open to high school juniors and seniors who want a professional internship in an organization in their field of interest. Students should APPLY NOW for a summer internship. The program is for students from the Arlington Virginia Public School System. The internship program lasts four weeks during the summer and is unpaid; interns can receive high school or college credit. Interns are assigned to a professional organization where they gain first-hand knowledge and skills that are required in the professional world within their area of interest.

Bank of America Student Leaders Program

Bank of America Student Leaders Program provides paid summer internships with local nonprofits. The internship program gives students an opportunity to discover their talents and develop their leadership skills. The program is open to high school juniors and seniors. The program is an 8-week paid internship at a local nonprofit or charitable organization that is selected by Bank of America. Students work 35 hours a week and receive pay, plus on-the-job-training that concludes with an all-expense-paid week-long Student Leaders Summit in Washington, DC in July. The program is offered every year for eligible high school students.

The internship will enhance students' knowledge with hands-on experience in their field of interest. Internships are offered in the areas of Research, Development, Corporate Communications and Business, as well as science-related fields such as Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Toxicology, Pharmacokinetics, and Clinical Development.

Monell Center Science Apprenticeship Program

Monell Center Science Apprenticeship Program offers paid internships to high school and undergraduate college students in the Philadelphia area. The internship is designed to increase student knowledge about science and research. The 7-week internship is offered during the summer and runs from June to August. Interns work full-time at 35 hours per week, with pay. Housing and meals are not included, but all students living outside commuting distance will be connected to a host family and will have a safe place to stay during the internship.

The internship teaches students about the nation's crime and law enforcement history. Interns will be involved in many projects at the museum and must be able to manage several projects at the same time. English and writing skills may be required.

NOAA National Marine Sanctuaries Internships

National Marine Sanctuaries Internships are available to high school students age 15 and older. Students interested in ocean conservation and management who want to work near Washington, D.C. are encouraged to apply. Interns will work on a variety of projects at the headquarters for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Marine Sanctuaries headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland. Students may work part-time or full time; internships are 6 weeks in duration.

Montgomery County Police Department Internship

Montgomery County Police Department Internship offers a work experience program for high school students age 16 and older. Interns work side-by-side with trained officers, staff, and other employees across many areas of law enforcement. The internship is a volunteer program; students must be able to work a minimum of eight hours per week or 6 months in the program. They will receive training in many areas, including communications, traffic laws, SWAT, forensics, homicide, narcotics, and more. The internship is designed to give students an opportunity to consider a career in law enforcement.

ANCA Western Region Summer Internship Program

Students must be between the ages of 17 and 23 and be able to work 30 hours per week. The program is 10 weeks long and provides interns with experience working within a non-profit organization. The program is open to high school seniors, college students, and recent college graduates.

Hartford Chorale Internship Scholarship Program

Hartford Chorale Internship Scholarship Program gives high school and college students a unique opportunity to sing with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. This is a prestigious experience for students to work alongside music professionals. Students with a strong interest in music are encouraged to apply. During the internship, they will work under the direction of Music Director Richard Coffey. They will perform with other experienced performers and receive mentoring throughout the internship.

MakeGamesWithUs Internship

MakeGamesWithUs Internship offers high school and college students a chance to spend their summer building iPhone games. Interns will be able to keep the games they create. This internship is unpaid but gives students a great technology experience in the games arena. There are no specific requirements to apply. Internships are offered in either Palo Alto or San Francisco. The internships run from June to August with interns working from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
