Performing Arts Abroad Internships

Performing Arts Abroad InternshipsCollege students interested in dance, music and theatre and want an international experience will find internships through the Performing Arts Abroad program. Internships range from four weeks to six months in a variety of disciplines in the arts.

These internships provide an excellent opportunity for students to not only learn their craft but also experience a different culture in locations throughout the world.


International internships are offered in Spain, Italy, Ecuador, England, Ghana, Thailand, and Costa Rica. The internships are in music, theater, arts administration, dance, and vocal. The internships give students a professional experience that will expand their skills as a performer.

Dates vary by location and internship. Interns will work an average of 30 hours per week throughout the internship. Housing can range from apartments or homes with interns living with other interns and young professionals. Start and end dates vary.
