The Television Academy Foundation Internship Program offers 50 paid summer internships in over 30 different categories to college students across the country. The program gives both undergraduate and graduate students in-depth exposure to professional television production. Summer internships are paid and are eight weeks long. All internships are in Los Angeles. There are many categories to choose from, including animation, art direction and set decoration, casting, physical production, broadcast news, choreography, cinematography, costume design, editing, and so much more.

Ronald McDonald House Internships are offered in Cleveland, Ohio, to students who have a strong desire to work for a recognized non-profit organization. Summer internships are offered in many areas. Internships are available in the summer and are offered every semester. Students looking for professional work experience will find summer internships in the areas of administrative and business, communications and marketing, public relations, event planning, social work, and much more.

League of United Latin American Citizens Internships are open to college students who want to work for a non-profit organization to advance the rights of Latino Americans. Summer internships are offered, as well as internships in the fall, winter, and spring. Internships are available across many disciplines. Programs offering internships include youth programs, education programs, policy and legislation, health programs, communications, special events, resource development, immigration reform, LGBT advocacy, community mobilization, civic engagement, and federal relations. Summer internships give college students real-world experience within a global non-profit organization.

Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden Internships are open to undergraduate and graduate college students. Applicants should have 15 semester hours of art history, arts management, or equivalent academic preparation Candidates for summer internships must have a grade point average of 3.25 for undergraduates and 3.5 for graduate students. They do not have to major in art history. Internships are offered in the following departments: Arts and Programs, Exhibition and Design, Collection Management (includes photography and conservation), and External Affairs (communications, media relations, web design).

Convergence Internship Program offers full- and part-time internships for undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates who are interested in gaining practical experience in consensus building and public policy. Internships are available in the Fall, Spring, and Summer. Summer internships and other internships last 3 months. Candidates must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher in order to be considered. Each internship focuses on special projects, such as Healthcare Financing Reform, Economic Mobility and Poverty, Development and Communications, Education, Incarceration, and Building a Better Budget.

Global Ties U.S. Internships are offered to rising undergraduate juniors through graduate level students interested in working within the non-profit industry. Summer internships are available, as well as internships in the Spring and Fall. Students must be able to work for one academic semester. Internships are unpaid, volunteer positions; however, students may arrange to receive academic credit for their internship. Interns who complete their semester internship will receive a stipend to help defray internship-related expenses, including transportation costs to and from the Global Ties U.S. office.

The National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. offers summer internships to college students who want to gain valuable work experience at a world-class museum. Both undergraduate and graduate students may apply. Internships are offered in the Summer, Fall and Spring. Although some internships may include pay, most are unpaid. Summer internships are offered in the areas of Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media, Program Development, Museum Shop Visitor Interpretation, and more.

AAMC Undergraduate Research Programs are available for college undergraduates with a strong background in science. Summer internships in research are offered to students considering a research career. Summer Undergraduate Research Programs are offered at universities, hospitals, medical centers, research foundations, and clinics around the nation. All offer summer internships that generally run from the end of May through the beginning of August. Each program has its own eligibility requirements but all are designed for currently-enrolled undergraduates.

NEIWPCC Internships are available to college students interested in working in an outdoor environment and learning about water quality and safety. Interns will work as Lake Champlain Boat Launch Stewards from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Lake Champlain is a natural freshwater lake in North America, mainly within the borders of the states of Vermont and New York. Summer internship interns will be responsible for greeting visitors to Lake Champlain, gather lake-user information and even be trained to conduct vessel inspections. Interns work eight-hour days for approximately thirty-two hours per week at select boat launches around Lake Champlain.

Venture Outdoors Internships are open to college students interested in working in the outdoor recreation field. Summer internships are available, as well as internships in the Spring and Fall. Summer internships are offered in the areas of Fishing, Youth Program, Photography, Communications, and Marketing. Spring internships are offered in the areas of Photography and Programs. Internships are unpaid. Some positions may be available for class credit.

Chicago Coalition for the Homeless Internships are offered to college students, both undergraduate as well as graduate students. Internships give college students an opportunity to earn academic credit in their field of interest. Summer internships are available as well as internships that run through the academic year. Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) finds summer internship and other internship positions for more than 20 interns a year within its public policy, community organizing, legal and development staffs.

Clinton Foundation Internship is open to current or rising undergraduate seniors, graduate students, and postgraduates who are in good academic standing. On some occasions, sophomores and juniors pursuing their undergraduate degree are also considered. Internships cover five specific areas of the Foundation: Programs and Initiatives, Communications, Logistics, Technology, and the Clinton Presidential Center. Many internships are offered in each area, resulting in internships that will reach across the interests of many college students.

The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Diversity Internship Program is open to students from ethnic and cultural backgrounds, including but not limited to Alaskan Native, American Indian, Asian/Pacific Islander, African American, and Hispanic descent. It is for undergraduate students with an interest in learning about fundraising and communications at an international human rights organization. The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Diversity Internship Program is a 12-week, part-time, summer internship work opportunity for deserving students with an interest in the international human rights field. Summer internship applicants must have a grade point average of 3.2 or above and have completed their freshman year in college. They must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate college program.

The Washington Center Internship Program offers college students a summer internship in Washington, D.C. Internships are offered across almost all fields and sectors, regardless of students' majors and professional interests. Applicants must be currently attending an accredited college or university and be a sophomore or above during the term of their internship. They must have a GPA of 2.75 or above and be at least 18 years old. While some internships may include a stipend, most are unpaid. Students may receive academic credit from their college or university for their participation in the internship.

New York State Museum Internship offers hands-on learning opportunities for college students. Summer internships are available in research and collections, education, public programs and administration offices. Summer internships are unpaid and generally last 6-12 weeks, but can be shorter or longer, depending on the school requirements and the organizational needs. Both part-time and full-time internships are available. Each intern is guided throughout their internship by an assigned supervisor.

PRSSA Internships are offered to college students who are pursuing careers in public relations. Internship opportunities are offered all over the world through the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). Summer internships provide opportunities for college students to prepare for careers in public relations. PRSSA places students with companies and organizations that employ public relations professionals. Interns receive hands-on experience and an opportunity to sharpen their skills and even determine specialization areas that might interest them.

The Victor S. Navasky Internship Program is open to college students pursuing careers in journalism and publishing. Editorial, paid internships are offered during the summer/fall, and winter/spring semesters. Internships are at The Nation offices in New York. Summer internships run from the end of June to the middle of December each year. Interns work full-time, 5 days a week and are paid. Work responsibilities for interns include fact-checking, research, and web production. Internships are either with The Nation magazine, America's oldest continuously published weekly magazine, or with the Nation Institute's Investigative Fund, assisting in the creation and distribution of investigative pieces that appear in various media outlets.

Missing Children Internships offers internships to students around the country. Undergraduate students who have completed two years of college may apply. Students need to have an interest in outreach prevention and missing and exploited children. Summer internships are available, as well as Spring and Fall. Internships are unpaid; interns receive hands-on work experience while earning hours needed to receive credit from their college or university. Students may apply for more than one internship in the same quarter.

New York Historical Society Internship Program offers full-time and part-time internships in both the museum and the library during the fall, spring, and summer. Applications for summer internships begin in February and close in April each year. Whether it is summer internships or internships in the fall and spring, interns will be involved in creative exhibition layouts and doing research with curators. It is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to gain professional experience and career development while building professional relationships. The New York Historical Society also offers internships for high school students.
