Star Wars Internships offer an exciting opportunity for college students to work on a Lucasfilm project, as in George Lucas, creator of Star Wars. Paid internships are available in the U.S. and international. George Lucas is the American filmmaker and entrepreneur who is the creator of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the founder of Lucasfilm and Industrial Light & Magic. His company, Lucasfilm, is offering several summer, paid internships. The internships are in the areas of Animation, Visual Effects, Art, Information Technology, Administration, Public Relations, and more.

The Television Academy Foundation Internship Program offers 50 paid summer internships in over 30 different categories to college students across the country. The program gives both undergraduate and graduate students in-depth exposure to professional television production. Summer internships are paid and are eight weeks long. All internships are in Los Angeles. There are many categories to choose from, including animation, art direction and set decoration, casting, physical production, broadcast news, choreography, cinematography, costume design, editing, and so much more.

Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden Internships are open to undergraduate and graduate college students. Applicants should have 15 semester hours of art history, arts management, or equivalent academic preparation Candidates for summer internships must have a grade point average of 3.25 for undergraduates and 3.5 for graduate students. They do not have to major in art history. Internships are offered in the following departments: Arts and Programs, Exhibition and Design, Collection Management (includes photography and conservation), and External Affairs (communications, media relations, web design).

Harper's Magazine Internships offers summer internships, as well as internships in the Fall and Spring. Internships are offered to college students and college graduates in the areas of editorial and art. Editorial Interns work on a full-time, unpaid basis for three to five months. Summer internships run from June to August. Interns work closely with an editor on one magazine section and receive practical experience in critical reading and analysis, research, fact checking, and the general workings of a national magazine.

Cleveland Museum of Art PAID Internships are open to college students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program and have significant coursework in studio art, design, or art education. This is a paid, year-long fellowship at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Interns will work from July to the following May. They will be assigned as mentors to teens participating in programs at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Interns will work in the Department of Education and Academic Affairs where they will create programming and experiences in art for high school students.

National Gallery of Art Internship offers summer training opportunities for students pursuing careers in the museum industry. The location is the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Students interested in museum careers may choose internships in the conservation, curatorial, design, and education departments. They will work with Gallery professionals from various departments to gain greater knowledge and training for a career within the museum industry.
