Unum Summer Internships are available to both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in the financial services industry. Applicants must have completed at least two years of college work in order to apply. Candidates must be currently enrolled full-time in a four-year college or university and have a GPA of 3.3 or above. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel software applications is required, along with strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated leadership qualities.

The Jackson Laboratory Summer Student Program offers high school students and undergraduate college students a summer opportunity to learn more about research in science. Students receive a stipend during the 10-week program and also get hands-on research experience in a number of scientific disciplines. Areas of research include cancer biology research, research on aging, hematology, immunology, diseases and other areas of research. Students do independent research and are supervised by staff scientists. Students must be in grade 11 or 12, or have completed one semester as a full-time undergraduate college student. They must have a strong desire to do lab research work.

Prudential Summer Internship is a summer work experience program for undergraduate and graduate students interested in a career in financial services. Opportunities are available in the functional areas of Actuary, Annuities, Finance, Group Insurance, Human Resources, Marketing, Prudential Investment Management, and Retirement. Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and have a grade point average of 3.0 or above. They must have one year of school remaining. Positions are available in the states of New Jersey as well as Connecticut, Maine, Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Georgia and Illinois.
