The Human Rights Campaign Internship offers numerous summer internships, as well as internships in the Spring and Fall, for college students who are LGBTQ advocates and leaders. More than 25 program areas are available. Applicants have a choice of several locations, including Washington, DC, Birmingham, AL, Little Rock, AR and Jackson, MS. Internships are unpaid but do provide a modest, one-time travel stipend. The internship program is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates who have graduated within the last year.

Murphy USA Summer Senior Analyst Program is open to MBA students who are interested in careers within the oil and gas industry. Internships occur during the summer prior to the second year of study. Candidates ideally should have 2-3 years of prior work experience, a desire for a career in retail, and a passion to solve analytical problems and strategic challenges in a corporate environment. U.S. Department of the Interior Internship Program provides students from high school to graduate-level school a paid opportunity to work for a Federal agency of the U.S. government. Their work will allow them to explore Federal careers while still in school and while getting paid for the work performed. Many students who successfully complete the internship program may be eligible for a permanent job in the civil service after graduation. Eligible students include high school seniors planning to attend a 4-year college or university, community or junior college, or professional, technical, vocational, and trade school. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. They must also have at least one term of school remaining after the internship program ends.

Tyson Foods Internships

Both part-time summer internships as well as full-time paid internships are available. About 50 internships are offered by Tyson Foods each year. Summer internships are 40 hours per week positions. Full-time paid internships are also available throughout the year. During the school year, interns generally work about 20 hours per week.
