The National Building Museum Internship Program
The National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. offers summer internships to college students who want to gain valuable work experience at a world-class museum. Both undergraduate and graduate students may apply.
Internships are offered in the Summer, Fall and Spring. Although some internships may include pay, most are unpaid. Summer internships are offered in the areas of Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media, Program Development, Museum Shop Visitor Interpretation, and more.
Candidates must be professional, have a strong work ethic, and show dedication to their internship. Interested students may apply by sending a cover letter that describes the type of position they are looking for, their qualifications for the internship, a resume, two letters of reference, and a writing sample.
