Chicago Coalition for the Homeless Internships are offered to college students, both undergraduate as well as graduate students. Internships give college students an opportunity to earn academic credit in their field of interest.

Summer internships are available as well as internships that run through the academic year. Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) finds summer internship and other internship positions for more than 20 interns a year within its public policy, community organizing, legal and development staffs.

Students who are interested in an unpaid internship at CCH may email the director or staff member who oversees the area in which they would like to intern at www.chicagohomeless.org/about/staff-members/ CCH also has full-time positions open for those who have their Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field, or a Masters degree, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in policy advocacy work, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) is a non-profit organization that was established in 1980. Their mission is to help create housing and improve services and opportunities for people who are homeless or at-risk, and to support the programs that serve homeless families, youths and adults.
