Summer internships provide opportunities for college students to prepare for careers in public relations. PRSSA places students with companies and organizations that employ public relations professionals. Interns receive hands-on experience and an opportunity to sharpen their skills and even determine specialization areas that might interest them.
Public relations summer internships may be with corporations, nonprofits, government entities, educational institutions, investment companies, healthcare companies, sports, travel and tourism, political candidates, and more. To apply, candidates must submit a cover letter and resume. Applicants must be student members of PRSSA.
The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is the foremost organization for students interested in public relations and communications. The organization supports the public relations profession by nurturing generations of future professionals, and works to maintain high academic standards for public relations professionals.
