ANCA Western Region Summer Internship Program

ANCA Western Region Summer Internship ProgramANCA Western Region Summer Internship Program offers summer internships for high school seniors and college students interested in politics and Armenian-American issues.

Students must be between the ages of 17 and 23 and be able to work 30 hours per week. The program is 10 weeks long and provides interns with experience working within a non-profit organization. The program is open to high school seniors, college students, and recent college graduates.

Interns will work on public affairs projects in the areas of education, communication, media, and planning and executing community events. In addition, they will arrange for guest speakers and participate in workshops. Students may also receive college credit after completing the internship.

The Armenian National Committee of America-Western Region is a non-profit organization that represents issues important to Armenian-Americans on the local, state and federal levels. The internships began in 2006 to give students an opportunity to gain a better understanding of political systems and how they work.

The location is usually in CALIFORNIA.
