Both the Editorial internship and the Digital Media internship positions are for students majoring in journalism. Editorial internships are unpaid, but offer opportunity for college credit. Interns will be involved in researching stories for print and online, writing and reviewing magazine content, and editing video and audio for online broadcast.

826 Michigan Internship Program offers Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer unpaid internships in communications, technology, graphic design, marketing, retail, tutoring and volunteer work. The internships last anywhere from one semester to one year. Interns will generally work about 15 hours per week. Locations can be in Ann Arbor, Detroit, Ypsilanti or other locations throughout Michigan. Students applying must be able to work the required number of hours. Specific skills may be required for each position but generally include excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of Mac Office programs, Google apps and data entry.
