The National Press Club Internships are open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Internships are unpaid. Applicants must be undergraduate juniors or seniors, or students enrolled in graduate studies. Internships are limited to students who will receive academic credit for the internship. Candidates must have a strong interest in and experience in journalism and media history. Other requirements will depend on the internship. For example, if a student is applying for an archival internship, they must be enrolled as a graduate student in library science and/or archives management.

UN Information Center Internships

Preference is given to students in their senior year of college or graduate school, whose major is in international relations, political science, communications or related field. Paid internships are offered primarily in the Fall, Spring, and Summer, but can be offered at any time throughout the year. The Baltimore Sun Mary J. Corey Journalism Internship is an annual, paid summer internship open to rising college seniors and graduate-level students studying journalism. The intern will receive pay and a housing stipend. The internship is 10-12 weeks starting from the middle of May through the end of August. In addition to pay and a housing stipend, the intern will work with multiple editors throughout the internship. The student selected should have extensive journalism experience, either as a student journalist, and/or as an intern at a newspaper.
