Hartford Hospital Clinical Psychology Internship
Hartford Hospital Clinical Psychology Internship offers graduate students a paid internship in the Psychology Department at Hartford Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry. The internship accepts applications from pre-doctoral students majoring in adult and child/adolescent clinical psychology.
Students must have completed at least two years of clinical psychology coursework. Applicants must be enrolled in an APA-accredited Ph.D. or Psy.D. program in clinical psychology. The internship provides hands-on advanced training for students pursuing careers in psychology. Interns will receive in-depth training in anxiety disorders, child/adolescent clinical psychology, general adult inpatient psychiatry, pediatric consultation/liaison and psychoses and cognitive rehabilitation of schizophrenia.
Interns receive a stipend, health plan, vacation days, holidays and sick days. Students are encouraged to apply online. Selected applicants will then be personally interviewed for potential acceptance into the year-long internship program.
