SHPE Foundation Scholar-Internship Programs
SHPE Foundation Scholar-Internship Programs offer both a summer internship at a research facility AND a scholarship for the fall and spring semesters for Hispanic students. Students must be pursuing degrees in the areas of science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
Two different scholar-internship programs are available. Funding for the scholar-internships comes from the SHPE Foundation who receives donations from federal, state, local and private grants and donations from corporations, foundations and other private donors. Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is a member-based, non-profit organization working to increase career opportunities for Hispanics in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math.
