This job at BJ's Wholesale Club involves meat department duties like receiving, rotating, cutting, and merchandising fresh and processed meats, as well as assisting with seafood, prepared foods, and deli items. Team members are expected to uphold club policies, deliver excellent service to members, and maintain a safe and positive environment. Key responsibilities include engaging with members, preparing special cuts, packaging meats, maintaining inventory, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards. Qualifications include completion of a training program, previous meat cutting experience, and being at least 18 years old. The position offers a starting pay of $18.50 per hour, with environmental job conditions including frequent movement on hard surfaces, lifting up to 30 pounds, exposure to temperature extremes, and occasional exposure to cleaning agents.
