This nursing apprenticeship program offers one-on-one preceptorship with a registered nurse, aimed at enhancing nursing knowledge, confidence, and acclimation to the clinical environment. Participants work under direct supervision, assisting in various nursing care services for patients, while engaging in didactic educational assignments and progress evaluations. Essential duties include data collection, communication with RNs and physicians, performance of validated skills, and reporting changes to the registered nurse. Required qualifications include enrollment in an accredited nursing program and completion of the first clinical semester, along with Basic Life Support certification.
