Join Caterpillar in Georgia to kickstart your welding career through the Great Promise Partnership (GP)/Work-Based Learning (WBL) programs. As an apprentice welder, you'll work on building excavators and tractors, operating both robotic and manual MIG weld machines. This hourly position requires rising Junior or Senior high school students from Georgia counties, offering hands-on experience and a starting wage of $12.90/hr. Candidates must meet academic and physical requirements, with preferences for those experienced in manufacturing, welding, or robotic welding systems.
