Year Up is an intensive one-year job training program designed for young adults, offering skill development, corporate internships, and college credit-eligible coursework. Participants receive an educational stipend and undergo training in technical and professional skills, followed by internships at top companies like Microsoft, Accenture, Salesforce, or Seattle Children's Hospital in the Seattle/Bellevue Washington area. Eligibility criteria include being 18-29 years old, a high school graduate or GED recipient, eligibility to work in the U.S., availability on weekdays throughout the program, a strong motivation to learn technical and professional skills, and not having obtained a Bachelor's degree. Graduates gain professional skills, interviewing and networking abilities, resume building, and ongoing career support, with a high employment rate and an average starting salary of $52,000 per year.
