Have you ever wondered what development tools professional software engineers use and who develops those tools? Do you want to learn how a line of code becomes software? Do you want to help other developers improve their productivity? Our Build team supports other software developers across Zoox work in a flow state by optimizing their edit-build-test loop. Your future team is responsible for maintaining the build process for our fast-growing, safety-critical, autonomous vehicle software. As our intern, you will work under the guidance of a more senior engineer, implementing feature requests to enhance the development experience of other software developers across Zoox and altogether positively impact our company's ability to impact. Technical Qualifications & Language RequirementsPursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field) Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology (e.g Java, C/C++, Python)Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentalsExcellent communication skillsAbility to integrate software quality tools into build systems and development workflows (code coverage, static/dynamic analysis)Passion for building tools, dashboards and features that empower developers to ship better software faster and with more reliability>CompensationThe monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility.
