Spirit Aerosystems Internships offers internships to college students who are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. Candidates must be full-time students in their junior or senior year. Some internship positions may accept sophomore.

Applicants are required to have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Internships are offered in business, logistics, information technology, engineering, program management and more. Internships allow students to gain skills, leadership and hands-on experience while exploring careers in their field of study. Internships run from the beginning of June until the beginning of August.

Candidates must enjoy challenging work and be able to work independently as well as on teams. They will be mentored throughout their internship and have opportunities to network with other students, employees and the community through recreational and social activities.

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. was founded in 1927 and based in Wichita, Kansas. Spirit is the world's largest first-tier aerostructures manufacturer. The company builds several important pieces of Boeing aircraft, including the fuselage of the 737, portions of the 787 fuselage, and the cockpit section of the fuselage of nearly all Boeing airliners.
