Scottrade Internships provide hands-on experience for college students across all areas of the company. Candidates must be current full-time students attending an accredited college or university.

Applicants must have a major in the area in which they are applying. They must also have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently as well as on teams,  and have a professional demeanor.

Internships may last up to 4 semesters, with interns working an average of 15-25 hours per week. Some internships may have language requirements and may require applicants to have two semesters remaining before graduation.

Scottrade is a privately owned discount retail brokerage firm that was established in 1980 and is headquartered in Town and Country, Missouri. The company has 503 branch offices around the U.S. It's customers include the U.S. as well as Asian-Pacific customers.
