Candidates should have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and an interest in forming a lasting partnership with Sigma-Aldrich. The internship program pays a competitive salary and requires interns to work full-time at Sigma-Aldrich for ten to twelve weeks during the summer.

Sigma-Aldrich is a subsidiary of Merck and is a multinational chemical, life science and biotechnology company. The company was acquired by Merck in 2015 and is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.
