Avnet Internship Program is for undergraduate college students interested in working within the technology industry. The summer internship program offers pay and gives students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a global Fortune 500 company.

The internship program is offered during the summer and is 12 weeks in duration, with pay. Internships are offered in the areas of business, accounting, finance, engineering, communications, marketing, information systems, supply chain and more.

In addition to hands-on experience, interns will participate in competitive projects with other teams and be involved in service projects within the community. Interns will learn from experienced professionals and receive feedback and evaluations during their internship. About 20 percent of interns who complete their internship receive full-time jobs offers.

Avnet is a global technology company that provides technology-related services, including electronic component and IT business solutions. Avnet was founded in 1921 and has more than 50 centers and locations in more than 34 countries. They are headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.
