Sherwin-Williams Summer Internship Program has current openings for students interested in opportunities in the Detroit area. This paid internship is for students currently enrolled in college.

Students must be attending full-time a four-year accredited college or university. During the summer internships program students work full-time from 30-40 hours per week. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a wholesale and retail environment. Students interested in a career in outside sales will enjoy the day-to-day challenges in customers sales and service.


Interns will travel with experienced sales representatives and also learn key sales skills from district managers. In addition, they will learn about store operations, inventory control, profit and loss, and work and learn from other cross-functional areas of the business. Students must have good communication and leadership skills, a valid driver's license, and agree to a background check and other pre-employment screening.

Sherwin-Williams was founded in 1866 and is now the largest paint manufacturer in the U.S. They are headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.
