Radio One Internships offer summer work experience for college students majoring in broadcasting, journalism, or communication. Students must be interested in learning the areas of radio programming and production, marketing and promotions, public relations, event planning, social media, photography, and videography. Internship locations are available in several states.

Internships are from 3-6 months. Students applying must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university. Students should have excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities can include assisting with programming, helping to organize concerts, contests or other special events.


Internships are available in the following states: Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Missouri, and D.C. Interested students may search and apply for internship positions online.

Radio One, Inc. operates 55 radio stations in the U.S. and primarily targets African-American urban consumer audiences.
