Philip Morris USA Summer Internship Program

Philip Morris USA Summer Internship Program and Jobs
Philip Morris USA Summer Internship Program hires more than 200 college students every summer. A variety of areas are open for interns to build professional skills and experience their careers in action within a dynamic organization. Students must be majors in accounting, business, finance, engineering, marketing and information technology.

Students must be in their senior year of a four-year degree program, or graduate students, before applying. A grade point average of 3.0 or above is required. Interns work 40 hours per week during the summer and receive a very competitive pay; a housing stipend may be included for relocation for some students. The internships offer benefits for both students and the company. Students are given responsibility for real projects that are important to the company, and the company looks for the best interns and hires 50 percent as full-time employees after graduation.

Philip Morris was rated one of the best internships and best places to begin a career by Bloomberg BusinessWeek magazine. It was also rated one of the top 50 employers for interns and new hires in 2011 by CollegeGrad.com, a website for entry-level job searchers.

Philip Morris USA is owned by Altria Group and is the leading manufacturer of cigarettes in the nation. Their brands include Marlboro, Virginia Slims, Parliament, L&M and Basic.
