Navistar Internships give college students an opportunity to practice what they have learned in the classroom. College sophomores and juniors, and first-year graduate students are encouraged to apply.

Internships are available in the areas of engineering, finance and accounting, and supply chain. Engineering students may major in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, acoustics engineering or a related major. All applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above in order to apply.


Interns will work with senior employees on challenging projects. They will develop professional skills and gain valuable insight from working within a leading manufacturer. The experience will allow them to explore career options and prepare them for a future career in engineering, finance and accounting, or supply chain.

Navistar is a leading manufacturer of commercial trucks, buses, defense vehicles and engines. The company was established in 1831 and is headquartered in Lisle, Illinois.
