Baxter Internship Program
Baxter Internship Program offers college students a 12-week internship program in the areas of engineering, finance and accounting, information technology, science and marketing.
Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above and have completed one year of college before applying. They must also demonstrate participation in extracurricular activities. Students receive competitive pay and subsidized housing and transportation if they live more than 50 miles from the internship site.
Students work full-time during the summer on projects that help to bring medical products into the marketplace. They are assigned a mentor to guide and evaluate their work and also work with cross-functional company teams to gain a full perspective of the business.
Baxter International Inc. is a global health care company that was founded in 1931 and are headquartered in Deerfield, Illinois. The company develops medical products for hemophilia, kidney disease, immune disorders and other medical conditions. They have locations in the U.S., Singapore, Belgium, and Switzerland.
