TJX Internship Program is open to college sophomores and juniors interested in a career in retail management. TJX's Corporate Merchandise Internship Program will provide training in the areas of Merchandise Planning & Allocation and Merchandise Buying.

Students in all majors may apply; a grade point average of 3.0 or above is required. Interns will receive both classroom and on-the-job training, interaction with management, workshops and opportunities to network, store visits and vendor visits, and social opportunities. Most interns will receive training at corporate headquarters near Boston, but other internships may be offered in New York and California.


Candidates must have strong analytical and communication skills, have leadership qualities, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be able to multi task. They must also be creative thinkers with the ability to complete special projects on time.

The TJX Companies, Inc. is an American apparel and home goods company based in Framingham, Massachusetts. It is the largest international apparel and home fashions off-price department store chain in the United States. The company was founded in 1956 and includes store brands T.J.Maxx, HomeGoods, Marshalls and Sierra Trading Post.
