PG&E Summer Internships are offered to college students who are pursuing Bachelors and Masters degrees. Applicants must be full-time college students attending an accredited college or university.

Internships are offered in business, accounting and finance, customer service, human resources, information technology, gas and electric. Candidates must be in good academic standing, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong ethics, and be able to work well on teams. Internships are 10-12 weeks long and offer a competitive salary, paid company holidays, and the potential for a full-time position upon graduation.


Interns will receive support and guidance from colleagues and receive valuable, hands-on work experience in their field of study. Internships provide insight into the gas and electric industry, an opportunity to network with professionals, and learn from more experienced staff through hands-on training, executive speaker opportunities, and more.

The Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) is an investor-owned utility company that provides natural gas and electricity to most of the northern two-thirds of California, from Bakersfield almost to the Oregon border. PG&E was founded in 1905 and is currently headquartered in the Pacific Gas & Electric Building in San Francisco, California.
