GEICO Internships are offered to college juniors and seniors interested in a career in insurance. The summer internship program offers a paid work experience for students while they are still in college.

Interns will receive hands-on training and experience within the insurance industry. Internships are 6-10 weeks in duration and available in many different locations.


Ideal candidates are student who are studying business, finance, insurance, management, mathematics, economics and related fields, computer science or related programs in IT. All interns receive competitive compensation and work 38.75 hours per week Monday through Friday. Most offices require a minimum grade point average of 3.0 - 3.2.

GEICO is the second largest auto insurer in the United States. They were founded in 1936 in Texas and are headquartered in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
