Gap Inc.Summer Internship Program is for college students who are senior undergraduates and first-year MBA students interested in a career in the retail industry. The 10-week program gives students a hands-on, challenging work experience in retail.

Gap Inc. internship opportunities are offered in the areas of corporate real estate, finance, graphic design, human resources, information technology, loss prevention, marketing, merchandising and product development. The internship runs from the middle of June until late August. Interns will benefit through projects, group discussions with Gap Inc.’s executive leaders, panel discussions and volunteer and social events with other interns and employees.


Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above, have strong computer skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be self-starters, and be able to multi-task and interact well with customers.

Gap Inc. is a multinational clothing and accessories retailer headquartered in San Francisco, California. The company was founded in 1969 and has six divisions, including Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime, Intermix, and Athleta.
