University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Summer Internships and Leadership Development Programs
The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center offers both Summer Internships as well as full-time Leadership Development programs for qualifying students in several disciplines.
Summer internships are offered in the areas of nursing, law, technology, marketing and communications, quality and process improvement, supply chain, human resources, information services, and finance. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above to apply; some internships may require a higher minimum GPA. In addition to summer internships, UPMC also offers a two-year leadership development program in information services and finance.
The leadership development program is a two-year commitment during which candidates will experience four six-month rotations. The rotations enable candidates to experience all divisions of UPMC and gain valuable exposure to high-level UPMC executives. Students interested in either program should carefully review all requirements for each position before applying.
