Cosmopolitan Internships and Jobs
Cosmopolitan Internships are available to college students in the Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. The internships are unpaid and only open to undergraduate students who are eligible to receive college credit.

Students do not need prior experience working for a magazine. Students must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, creativity and enthusiasm, and the ability to work two full days a week during the spring and fall semesters, and four days a week during the summer and winter semesters.


Interns will provide research and reporting assistance to editors, transcribe interviews, compile stories, and provide other administrative support to magazine staff. Students who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can multi-task are encouraged to apply.



Students may email their resume and cover letter to apply. The cover letter should include area of interest, availability, and reasons why they would be a good candidate for an internship. Cosmopolitan magazine was founded in 1886 and is headquartered in New York. The magazine publishes articles on women's issues, relationships, sex, health, careers, self-improvement, celebrities, fashion and beauty.
