Internships are offered as needed in the offices of Domestic Finance, Economic Policy, General Counsel, International Affairs, Legislative Affairs, Management/Chief Financial Officer, Public Affairs, Tax Policy, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence and Treasurer. So, whether a student is majoring in business, finance, political science, law or other areas of study, they are sure to find an internship that meets their needs.
In addition, the Department of the Treasury is located in the heart of Washington, D.C. close to shops, museums, and restaurants. This gives students a chance to explore our nation's capitol during their internship program.
Internships include non-paid positions during the summer as well as paid, part-time internships. Students must be currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university working towards a degree and be in good academic standing in order to apply.
