Law students interested in a Martin Luther King Jr. Summer Internship should apply now. The paid internship gives law students an opportunity to participate in legal services work for 10 weeks during the summer.
The internship is named after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and offered through the Legal Aid of North Carolina. Interns accepted into the program will work on real cases, including working directly with clients, participating in courtroom proceedings, and doing legal research and writing under the supervision of experienced legal aid attorneys.
Legal Aid of North Carolina provides legal services to poor people, minorities and victims of domestic violence. Law students with a passion for providing representation to all and ensuring that every individual receives equal justice are encouraged to apply. The internship encourages more law students to consider a legal career in providing legal representation to those who are currently underserved.
