AstraZeneca Internships are offered to both undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in working within a large pharmaceutical company. Internships are offered across many fields of interest.

Interns are given meaningful projects to work on and opportunities to network within their chosen business area. Internships are offered in the areas of finance, business, health and pharmaceuticals, information technology, and more. Positions may vary at each location depending on need.

Candidates must be at least a junior or senior undergraduate student with cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. To qualify, students must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program. Some internships are during the summer, while other internships are 6 months in duration, with pay, as students work at an AstraZeneca location, returning to their academic program after the completion of their internship. Ideal candidates will be students with demonstrated leadership skills and a wide array of interests andactivities.

AstraZeneca is a British-Swedish pharmaceutical company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It is the world's seventh-largest pharmaceutical company and has operations in over 100 countries. They make products for major disease areas including cancer, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, infection, neuroscience, respiratory and inflammation.

The location is usually in MARYLAND.
