The 2024 Summer Nurse Internship program at the North Dakota State Hospital offers a dynamic opportunity for nursing students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in psychiatric and substance use disorder care. With a competitive hourly rate of $22.50, interns will work under the guidance of Registered Nurses to provide patient care, complete nursing assessments, and possibly administer medications. This role is designed for individuals who have completed at least one year of an RN or LPN accredited program or those awaiting licensure examination.
