Sonera is offering a 12-week internship focusing on R&D of thin film magnetoelectric materials for brain-machine interface sensors. The role involves processing and characterizing thin film magnetic material stacks, testing device performance, and analyzing data. Candidates should be enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, with knowledge of magnetic materials, solid-state device physics, and RF/electrical testing. The ideal intern is a self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to conduct comprehensive literature and patent searches.
