This part-time Student Nurse Internship at Saint Francis Hospital in Connecticut offers a 12-month program that includes a 9-week summer intensive program starting in May 2024. Interns will work alongside nurses as Professional Nursing Assistants (PNAs), observe daily tasks, and receive mentorship. Minimum qualifications include enrollment in an accredited nursing program, AHA BLS certification, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher. After completing the summer program, interns continue in a per diem position, meeting quarterly for learning and sharing experiences. Eligible interns can apply for the 2024 Nurse Residency Program, designed to support new graduate nurses.
