This Lab Tech Intern position involves gaining knowledge and skills while collaborating with the Lab Coordinator and Engineering team. Responsibilities include setting up electromechanical tests, conducting lab measurements, collecting and organizing data, and following instructions. To qualify, candidates should be enrolled in a technical degree program (Industrial, Automation, Controls, Electrical, or related field) with a GPA above 3.0. They should also have experience with hand tools and electrical wiring, with the opportunity to learn additional technical skills on the job, such as using oscilloscopes, panel wiring, working with high voltage systems, programming PLCs, and understanding variable speed drives and control systems.
