An undergrad or grad student is sought to tutor a 10th grader in Honors Chemistry due to inconsistent teaching at school. The tutor should be proficient in explaining advanced high school chemistry concepts and is expected to teach 2-3 times a week, preferably at the student's home in south Durham, near UNC's campus. There's also a need for occasional online assistance via Zoom or Facetime during exam preparations. Compensation is $20/hour plus mileage if tutoring at the student's residence. The engagement is anticipated to last until May.
