The summer 2024 student Intern with the Field Operations team will assist in geotechnical materials testing and construction observation for various projects. The role involves testing construction materials like soils, concrete, and asphalt, and conducting field inspections. Interns will produce detailed field reports, manage documents for different projects, and ensure contractors adhere to project plans and specifications. This position provides hands-on experience with real-world applications of design standards, ASTM and ACI standards, and the influence of design on construction stages. The role offers exposure to diverse construction methods and industry professionals.
