The Academy Gold Talent Development and Inclusion Program
The Academy Gold Talent Development and Inclusion Program offers summer internships to college students who have a strong interest in film making and the motion picture industry. Applicants must be college students attending an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
Candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or above. They must also have strong written, verbal and problem-solving skills. Summer Interns will work part-time, up to 28 hours per week. They will gain much knowledge about the motion picture industry by working on projects and other activities related to student development and film.
Summer internship programs begin the middle of June and end the middle of August. Interns will be given crash courses on various aspects of the film industry, including production, distribution, marketing, development, screen writing, and more. Their training will include studio tours and educational classes hosted by the Academy.
The internship is sponsored by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the world's preeminent movie related organization, comprised of more than 7,000 men and women working in the film industry.
The location is usually in CALIFORNIA.
