Prince William County Internships

Prince William County Internships are available to students who are at least 18 years of age and juniors or seniors in college. Applicants must be in good academic standing and of good moral character.

Candidates may obtain credit hours for this internship as it is an unpaid summer internship. To apply, students must submit a completed application, cover letter, grade transcript, and a letter of recommendation from a college faculty member or Department Chair. Any student who applies cannot be convicted of any felony or misdemeanor of any serious nature.
Summer internship positions are available in the Prince William County Police Department, and The Prince William County Animal Shelter (PWCAS). The veterinary internship is only for students enrolled in the formal veterinary technician program at NVCC’s AVMA-accredited program.

Prince William County is located in Northern Virginia, and includes the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. In 2012 it had the seventh highest income of any county in the United States. It is Virginia's second most populous county.
