Alaska Public Media Internship

Alaska Public Media Internship offers a rich and rewarding paid summer internship for college students interested in a media-related career. Interns will work in a news department posting stories, audio, and video to the alaskapublic.org website.

The paid summer internship is for college students who are studying journalism, broadcasting or a related communications field and who have experience working in newspapers, magazines, radio or television. Ideal candidates will also be familiar with Word Press or posting to online publications.

Summer internships run from June to August. Eligible candidates may apply by sending a cover letter and resume to ltownsend@alaskapublic.org or mailing it directly to Alaska Public Media.

Alaska Public Media produces news and other content that includes public affairs, health and leisure, science and nature, economic and social development, civic engagement and world events. The company is located in Southcentral Alaska and is comprised of KSKA radio, KAKM-TV and alaskapublic.org.
