Huntington Ingalls Industries Internships are open to college students enrolled in Bachelor or Master’s degree programs. Internships are offered in the areas of Business, Computer Science, Engineering, and Information Technology.

Internships are offered during the summer for 10 weeks, but eligible students must submit their applications in February. All applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above, be at least 18 years old, be a U.S. citizen, and agree to work 40 hours per week during the internship. Applicants will be required to submit to a background check, hair follicle and drug screen test.

Internships give college students the opportunity to combine the knowledge learned in the classroom with practical work experience. The 10-week internships at Hungtington Ingalls gives interns on-the-job experience working within a Fortune 500 company.

Huntington Ingalls Industries is the nation's largest military shipbuilding company and a provider of manufacturing, engineering and management services to the commercial and non-commercial oil, gas and energy markets.

The location is usually in VIRGINIA.
