GM Financial Summer Internship Program offers college students an opportunity to gain hands-on, real-world experience within an industry-leading, professional organization. Internships are paid positions.

Candidates must be current students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Internships are offered in the areas of accounting and finance, marketing and communications, information technology, information systems, human resources, and other fields. Students need a minimum 3.0 overall GPA in order to apply.


Applicants should also have strong written and verbal communication skills, be detailed-oriented, have the ability to communicate with other business professionals and leaders, and be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Internships are 10 weeks during the summer, with the opportunity for a full-time career after graduation.
