Evercore Internships are offered to college students who are pursuing careers in business, financing and investment banking. Evercore is No. 1 on a new list of the nation’s best internships put out by career website Vault.

Interns receive hands-on experience by working with senior executives who teach them the investment banking business. They will work on projects that include acquisitions, restructurings, recapitalizations, divestitures, partnerships, joint ventures, private equity, research, and sales and trading activities. Each summer, up to 60 interns are selected to participate.

The internships are in New York City. Applicants must have exceptional academic records -- the average GPA is 3.8. In addition to working on projects, interns also enjoy perks during the summer like rafting trips, country club visits and basketball games.

Forbes lists Evercore as One of the Top 10 Internships. Evercore is an independent investment banking advisory firm founded in 1996 and headquartered in New York City. Their business includes wealth management, asset management and private equity investing. Evercore serves clients from 28 offices in North America, Europe, South America and Asia.

The location is usually in NEW YORK.
